Kerri and Jake met at EAA AirVenture 5 years ago. Jake’s pick-up line was “do you want to see my airplane?” which is hilariously appropriate since he is a pilot and she is an air traffic controller!

They had a beautiful waterfront ceremony with their closest family and friends. The idyllic weather made for spectacular photos and a lovely cocktail hour. Then it was time for dinner and some dancing!

Their decor kept with the aviation theme from the escort cards to the favor cookies. Another fun thing they had was a propeller for their guests to sign.

Kerri and Jake go to EAA AirVenture every year and it’s such a special part of their love story, so they wanted to share it with all of their loved ones. This was a destination wedding for everyone, including the two of them. After dinner, all 50 guests loaded onto a coach bus and as a group headed over to EAA AirVenture to watch the night airshow and fireworks. It was incredible!
