There are many new wedding venues in Milwaukee and we love seeing all the exciting new locations. Each of these spaces has unique features and we can’t wait to get the chance to work at each and every one of them.
We couldn’t fit all of the new venues into one blog post so here is Part One - the newest venues to tie the knot in the downtown Milwaukee area.
The Barley Room
The Barley Room at Pabst is set in the historic 1889 Pabst Brewing Company Bottling House located in the Brewery District neighborhood in downtown Milwaukee. Fully restored, the new event venue has an industrial yet intimate character. The past is archived in the preserved architectural details featuring exposed cream city brick and industrial details. Expansive windows illuminate the space with ample natural light.
The Barley Room’s location is highly accessible and within walking distance to hotels, restaurants, breweries, entertainment, Fiserv Forum, the Deer District, and to all Milwaukee has to offer.
The Starling
The Starling is located in Milwaukee's bustling Historic Third Ward, right on the water. The space is freshly renovated with a large botanical moss wall and floor to ceiling windows that face the water. The new wrap-around bar makes spending time with the most important people the main focus.
The Starling can host up to 200 guests and will also have an outdoor riverwalk event space available.
The Fitzgerald
The Fitzgerald is an elegant, historic mansion that’s rooted in downtown Milwaukee’s East Side Neighborhood.
Exquisite parlors, an opulent ballroom, and a lush garden terrace make this charming Italianate style home a unique destination for weddings and private events.
The venue originated in 1874, when architect Edward Townsend Mix built it as a family residence for the Great Lakes Captain Robert Patrick Fitzgerald. It is a study in symmetry, with its double-arched windows, arched doorway, pillars that support the porch, and bracketed overhang, all of which give the building an air of balance and harmony.
Denizen MKE
