Trina and Zach's Wedding at Anderson Arts Center was a magical day. They hired us about six months before the wedding. They were living in two different states, each working 80 hours a week while in residency, and planning an out of state wedding so they needed some extra help planning. The day started with the ladies getting ready at Trina’s parent’s house followed by their ceremony at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church which is Trina’s family’s church. She was baptized there and had her first communion there. Two of the stained glass windows in the church were donated by her grandpa. It is a beautiful church and the family connections made all the more meaningful.
It was an extremely windy day but aside from that it was a really stunning wedding. There were huge waves crashing up against the rocks and the sunset was incredible! Because of the wind, we did end up putting most of the tent walls down to keep all of the decor in place. From the romantic lighting and chandeliers to the gorgeous florals, the reception was stunning and we even did a reveal with Trina and Zach. It’s always so fun to show the couple the space before it is filled with people. Seeing all their planning come to life is beyond special.
The food menu was a variety of dishes from their four different cultures - Greek, Italian, Afghan, and Southern. We worked with four different local restaurants to make it happen. Each restaurant provided appetizers, main dishes (which were displayed on food stations) and a variety of desserts. The reception also featured an incredible show-stopping wedding cake and a coffee cart which was a hit with the guests. This group loved to dance and with a live band, the dance floor was packed all night!
Cheers to Trina and Zach and thank you for this kind review!
“Our wedding was truly amazing, and we could not have done it without Weddings With A Twist. Krista was amazing. She did a great job providing us with mood boards and resources to choose from. She handled everything we needed with professionalism and was so attentive to our needs. We felt like wedding planning was on autopilot with her. We will have amazing life long memories because of Weddings With A Twist. Worth every penny.”
