Abbey and Darren’s July wedding took place at his grandparent’s home in Lake Geneva. The house is a Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home and it was incredible! A fun fact about the house is that it was designed with no right angles!

The couple met in high school and have been together for 9 years. They planned the wedding from out of state and when picturing their day they envisioned a romantic, backyard wedding with a priority on joy, laughter, and celebration. They wanted a summertime wedding with funky florals. Abbey worked in the floral industry for five years, so she did all of the flowers herself!

For dinner they had food trucks which was really fun and unique. They also served Pete’s Pops for dessert which fit in with their summer wedding theme perfectly.

Abbey and Darren describe themselves as pretty casual as a couple so they wanted their day to reflect that fun, laid-back vibe where everyone’s family and everyone’s dancing. They definitely achieved this! Wishing this happy couple all the joy and love in the world!
