Alyshia & Michael's Wedding at Providence Vineyard

Ceremony

Alyshia and Mike’s wedding at Providence Vineyard was full of personal touches that made the day memorable for the couple and their families. During the ceremony, they had a surprise flower exchange where they gave each of their moms a flower which was a lovely way to incorporate their moms. They also had a drone shooting footage during the ceremony to capture the best overhead views.

Photos

For photos they made sure to include their hobbies and interests along with their closest loved ones. In addition to the wedding party, they took pictures with their dog, Bruno, after the first look. Mike and the groomsmen took pictures holding their rifles and the best man later presented a rifle to Mike during his speech at dinner. After dinner, the bride and groom took sunset photos together in the vineyard. Sunset photos are always a good idea, especially when they’re in a vineyard!

Reception

The wedding design included a gorgeous array of colors. Alyshia provided linens for draping in soft dusty blues, mint green, mauve, and white which we used to drape the cake table, antique dresser which was used to display the cupcakes, over the photo backdrop, and down the wooden head table. They incorporated different style lanterns into their ceremony and reception decor and also used the venue’s wine barrels as cocktail tables to tie in with the vineyard theme.

At the reception, the couple had signature cocktails, one for the bride, and one for the groom. Mike’s was a dirty martini and Alyshia’s was a fruity blue cocktail. In addition to the cocktails, another fun touch was incorporating Alyshia’s love of chocolate. They had chocolate bars with a customized sticker placed at each person’s dinner setting to serve as favors.

The first dances are always some of the most memorable parts of the day that everyone looks forward to. In addition to the first dance, stepfather/daughter, and mother/son dances, Alyshia had a first dance with her mom which was such a special moment.

To add some fun for guests beyond the dance floor, Alyshia and Mike had a fun photo backdrop with draping and lights along with polaroid cameras and a photo guestbook for their family and friends to put their pictures in. This is such a fun guest experience and you get a unique guestbook with photos of all of your favorite people.
