Alyssa and Steven’s St. James 1868 wedding was a show-stopper! Although the weather was unpredictable that day (on and off pouring rain and storms) they were still able to take some outdoor photos and finish the night with a sparkler exit and a classic getaway car.
These two make an incredibly adorable couple. Before walking down the aisle Alyssa said “I can’t believe this is real life. I can’t believe I get to marry him.” Their ceremony was personal and heartfelt with beautiful music played by a string trio.
When time allows, we always love to do a room reveal with the couple so they can see the reception space before all their guests enter. It’s a quiet moment and also gives the opportunity to see their vision and months of planning come to life. When they saw their reception room for the first time, Alyssa said “This looks just like my Pinterest board!” That’s always our goal!
After being introduced, Alyssa and Steven did their first dance right away followed by a champagne tower. They served delicious and beautiful cake pops for dessert in many flavors. They also had an audio guestbook for guests to leave them messages throughout the night.
Later into the evening, Alyssa had the cutest second dress and sunglasses for dancing. These two didn’t leave the dance floor all night and neither did their guests! Except for maybe their late night snack which was Ian’s pizza. The marquee letters on the dance floor were a fun touch and made for great photos as guests danced the night away.
This was definitely a night to remember. Wishing Alyssa and Steven all the happiness in the world!
