When Stephanie first reached out to us, she was eager to have help figuring out the timeline and the flow of the day. She wanted to be sure that enough time was allocated for each part of the day (getting ready, setup, first looks, ceremony, dinner, dessert, etc.) She described herself as an easy going person, but felt anxious to figure these things out on her own. This feeling is totally normal! You’ve likely never planned a wedding before, so how would you know how to form all the details into a cohesively run wedding day? That’s where a professional with years of experience comes in!
We worked together with Stephanie to create a wedding day timeline that suited what her and Michael wanted for their wedding day. This included relaxed getting ready time for both Stephanie and Michael followed by first looks with Stephanie and her dad, then the bride and groom. Having a first look is great because it allows for plenty of time for couples portraits and wedding party photos.
Following photos, they had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony with their closest loved ones. The floral arch was stunning and made for the perfect backdrop! One of the tricky parts about timelines can be the reception formalities like toasts, dances, and the cake cutting. Are you someone who likes to get everything done in the beginning or have these things spread throughout the evening? These are the kinds of questions we ask to build a wedding day timeline that is perfect for you! Having these conversations well ahead of time ensures that everything runs smoothly on your wedding day.
Stephanie and Micheal’s day felt effortless and full of love, which is of course always our goal! Cheers to the happy couple and thank you to Stephanie for this kind review!
